Hey Halloween 2008,

Hi. How are you?  I’m great, really, things are going terrific. Hey, did you see Dark Knight?  Yeah me too.  It was, IT WAS awesome.  What’s that?  Yeah, definitely.  Heath Ledger was amazing, one of the best comic book film villians I’ve ever seen.  Actually, that’s what I want to talk to you about.  Did you see any photos of the premiere?  Or of Comic-Con?  Is there any way we can steer clear of a “mass Joker” Halloween.  See I remember when the first Batman came out.  My brother was the Joker.  So was his friend, and about 1,000 other boys and men from our area.  See, I don’t want a repeat of that, plus every kid dressed up like joker just winds up looking like an insane stepford wife.  Did you see the kid who stole that poster and got arrested?  I KNOW! Ridiculous!  Anyway, so if you could do me a favor and somehow spread the word that: We get it, the movie was awesome, isn’t Heath Ledger great, isn’t the Joker a phenomenal icon of evil and craziness…but let’s just leave it at that.  No copycats, k?  Great.
